March 7, Mail-Only Election to Fill District 4 Vacancy

A special, vote-by-mail only election will be held in March to fill the vacancy for City Council District 4, which is centered in the downtown.

Use the City's council district locator to see whether you are within district boundaries, and register to vote by February 20. Candidates interested in being on the ballot must file their nomination papers by Friday Dec. 23.

All registered voters in District 4 (see map) will receive a ballot and a postage-paid return envelope in the mail.  No additional postage will be needed to mail back a ballot. The vote-by-mail period opens on February 6, 2017.
