  • More than 30% of women in the U.S. have experienced physical abuse by an intimate partner at some time during their lifetime.

  • Approximately 1 in 4 young people are at risk for abuse in a relationship before they are 21 years old.

  • Every year in Berkeley, more than 750 police reports relating to domestic violence are filed.  Many incidents are never reported.
