Mission Statement

"Our mission, as the Division of Environmental Health, is to promote and protect the health and wellbeing of all persons in the City of Berkeley by administering state and local regulations. We believe in the importance of disease prevention through education and enforcement as a means of safeguarding public health." 

Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

Inspectors' Office Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. or by appointment
