Current Projects
- San Pablo Park Basketball Court Renovation Project:
Scope: basketball court resurfacing; new lights, fencing, backboards, and benches; and new landscaping.
Construction budget: $384,870;
Site Status: Basketball courts will be closed to the public from February 3 through June 6, 2012.
Project Status: Active.

Gilman Street Sports Fields
Gilman Street Sports Fields Project - Phase One
Design: SFE Landscape Design, Inc.
Construction: McGuire and Hester, Inc.
Sand Channel Greens, Inc.
Construction cost: $7 million
Status: Phase One of the Gilman Project was completed and opened to the public on August 15, 2008, and the facility was formally named the Tom Bates Regional Sports Complex by the East Bay Regional Park District. Phase One provides two all-purpose lighted synthetic fields, and three natural turf fields to be available in the Spring of March 2009.
The design on Phase Two of the project has begun, which will involve the installation of baseball and softball fields and amenities (parking, lighting, etc.)
The fields are operated by a non-profit organization called the Association for Sports Field Users (ASFU) and are open to the public by reservation only. To reserve fields, send an email to info@asfu.org.

Bateman Mall Park Totlot
Scope of Work: Construction Contract for Play Area Safety and Accessibility Compliance
Consultant: Dillingham Associates, Landscape Architects
Construction Cost: $108,564
Contractor: G & G Builders, Inc. Livermore, CA
In order to comply with safety and accessibility regulations, the City has contracted with Dillingham Associates Landscape Architects to prepare construction documents for the replacement of the tot play equipment at Bateman Mall Park. Other program elements in the play area and directly adjacent include accessible surfacing, an accessible drinking fountain, and accessible tot picnic tables.
Tot play area was open to public use on April 9, 2010.

Scope: Install repairs to vehicle-damaged historical features at the south side of the Circle.
