Affordable Public Housing for Low-Income Families
Operated by the Berkeley Housing Authority

The Berkeley Housing Authority no longer operates 75 units of low-income public housing in 14 sites around Berkeley. These units were built in the 1980s and are geared toward larger, low-income families. Accordingly, there are 44 three-bedroom units and 31 four-bedroom units. Click here for a list of the scattered sites.

The Housing Authority no longer owns the units.  The units are being managed by the new owner.

The Berkeley Housing Authority contracted with EJP and Overland, Pacific & Cutler, Inc. to assist with the disposition/reposition of BHA's  Low Income Public Housing Units.  Below are reports and informational items regarding the LIPH disposition:
