Senior Centers Topic Listing

Activities and Services - The Division on Aging offers a variety of free classes, workshops, and social events for adults 55 years of age and older (60 years and older for the lunch program). Currently, more than 1,200 seniors participate in activities held daily at two distinctive neighborhood Centers or in our home-delivered meal program. Our programs attract seniors with diverse backgrounds and interests who frequent the Centers for cultural exchange, meeting with friends, and enjoying delicious noon-time meals.  If you have recently retired, or simply want a delightful place to remain active, healthy, and enjoy good fellowship, please visit any or all, of our beautiful Senior Centers, located in North Berkeley, and South Berkeley.  [more...]

Participant Rules and Guidelines - Our Senior Centers are daytime activity centers where adults age 55 years and older (60 years for the lunch program) can participate in recreation, socialization, and intellectual activities, as well as find a variety of helpful, relevant services. The City of Berkeley Division on Aging is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our participants, visitors, and staff.
