A California "A" or "C27" contractor license are required to bid this contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit - City will conduct a Mandatory pre-bid conference and site visits on Thursday, April 30, 2015 to clarify such matters as Bidders may request. The mandatory pre-bid conference and site visits on April 30, 2015 will be:

  • 9:00 a.m. at Ann Chandler Health Clinic 830 University Avenue
  • 10:00 a.m. at North Berkeley Senior Center 1901 Hearst Avenue
  • 11:00 a.m. at South Berkeley Senior Center 2939 Ellis Street

in Berkeley, California.

Bidders will be required to sign in at each site or their bid will be rejected.

Scope of Work: The work to be done generally consists of traffic control, base failure repairs, adjustment of valve boxes, polymer modified slurry seal, asphalt rubber chip seal, PG-TR chip seal (alternate bid item), concrete curbs and gutters, traffic loops, pavement markings, striping, and markers as specified. All work shall be performed in accordance with the project plans and specifications.

A California A contractor's license is required to bid this contract.

Scope of Work: The work to be done generally consists of painting services, including a) preparing, priming, and painting surfaces; and b) repairing surfaces and non-structural components at three Parks, Recreation, & Waterfront (PRW) facilities:

  • Interior painting services at Willard locker rooms, shower areas, and restrooms;
  • Exterior painting services at West Campus Swim Center building and fence; and
  • Exterior painting services at 125-127 University Avenue at the Berkeley Marina.

All work shall be performed in accordance with the project specifications.

A California C33 or B contractor’s license is required to bid this contract.
