Home Energy Assistance and Weatherization Programs
ATTENTION:
Effective January 1, 2012, the City of Berkeley no longer processes applications for the bill payment or weatherization programs funded under the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Effective January 1, 2012 Spectrum Community Services, Inc will be processing applications for residents of Berkeley, Albany and Emeryville. Below is a list of their telephone numbers and offices where applications for these programs may be filed.

Other Services
The Energy Office funds the Community Energy Services Corporation, (CESC) for minor home repairs. CESC is a local not-for-profit agency that provides minor home repair services, principally for senior households, and as a youth training program. Approximately 200 homes are serviced annually. In addition to these home repairs, all homes receive weatherization services.
