The checkpoint will be held on Alcatraz Avenue near Adeline in south Berkeley. Participating Officers will begin operations at 8:00 p.m. and staff the checkpoint until approximately 2:00 a.m. Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
